The storm finally came to a still
You're now standing on top of the hill
Chin in the air, no where to look but up
But now you think you messed it up
I hope you see it wasn't your doing
I hope you'll stop, this day ruing
The earth shifts and feeling change
All that was lost is experience gained
So the mountain now feels on top of you
But oh if only, if only you knew
The mountain is where it has always been
Where it is now, and where it was then
Nor were you ever on top or below
Really there is no mountain, I hope you know
It's all in your mind, or maybe your heart
But trust me, you were ahead from the start

A Wish Upon The Moon.
"Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight,I wish I may, I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight."
Why is it that we wish upon stars? What is the significance?
Two nights ago I walked outside to be greeted solely by the moon, no stars and nothing to wish on. And then I took a closer look at my surroundings. There were still no stars, but there was something more, etched into the sky was a halo. A halo of light encompassing the moon and all of its vibrant glory. Caught in the moment of this rarity I did something I almost never do: I wished, not upon a star but upon the moon. I wished for time, patience, and understanding. Time so that the journey ahead of me may last, patience so that things may stay as calm as possible, and understanding in case things get mangled and need to be sorted out again.
Life can be tough, and sometimes the only thing that keeps you holding on is a little hope, which is in essence the same as a wish isn't it?
